Training Battleship (Self Defence Forces )
KASHIMA a 6,000－Ton class training battleship with a crew of over 600,
has been commissioned with the Japanese Navy (Self Defence Forces )
for over 10 years. It is equipped to sustain long journeys accompanying battleship formations (hmm…. we can’t really divulge state secrets on this
site but…..). It has been fitted with JISUI water Treatment Devices since launching.
A distinct 5% saving on Marine Fuel Consumption & Diesel engines in general has been reported (Not that the Ministry of Defence really
bothers about that….). But (METI ) the Ministry of Economy Trade &
Industry is much more concerned with Fuel Saving as WITNESSES ITS OFFICIAL report No. 19 on JISUI Fuel Consumption Saving Devices Related data will be available soon on this space.
